LASER and POWER SUPPLY:

            The laser is water cooled, SINGLE PHASE American 909 built in 1997.  It is pumped with Argon and Krypton gas in the plasma tube.  The laser and power supply were sent to American laser on 3/26/03 and got completely refurbished along with a brand new tube and coherent white light optics.  The laser has less than 100 hours since service and is producing 3.9 watts of white light at 32amps.  Laser and power supply are covered with black anodized aluminum giving a professional look.  The power supply was designed to run off SINGLE PHASE 240v or 208v.  There is a 2 pole 60amp breaker on the back of the PS and a 15 foot long 6 gauge 3 conductor power cable(2 hots and a ground).  Power supply has a remote control with 10’ long cables for control of: tube current, standby and keyed on/off. 

LASER PROJECTOR:

            The laser and projector are permanently mounted together on a 4 foot long black anodized aluminum channel.  The laser projector is CDRH certified.  The top and bottom are ¼” black anodized aluminum bread boards with ¼-20 taps every inch.  The sides and bread board cover are 1/16” black anodized aluminum.  The projector contains two Cambridge 6210 scanners, x/y scanner mount, Cambridge amps, 8 channel NEOS PCAOM “color modulation”, brag mount, safety shutter and power supplies.  The components within the projector are wired to an ILDA db25 connector mounted at the back and can be controlled via any ILDA compatible software or ADAT.  The projector also comes with a keyed shutter kill switch box that attaches to the ILDA connector and a 100’ ILDA db25 cable.

Software:

Laser system comes with Full-Auto laser software and an IBM Thinkpad laptop computer.  Full-auto is the easiest laser software to learn.   Shows are a pleasure to create and control.  With drag and drop Icons, large library of images and animations,  the ability to create custom graphics, auto-trace bitmaps, scan in image's, write text and much more.  Shows can be run in real-time to the music, or can be pre programmed to a CD.

RIGGING:

            The laser, projector and power supply can all be flown from a truss or 1 ½ “pipe!  The laser and projector must be flipped over and hung upside down.  There are two ½ bolts mounted through the 4 foot long black anodized aluminum channel.  The two mega clamps get attached to the two bolts.  There are also 6 eye hooks for safety cables or chain rigging.  The power supply has two mega clamps on the top for easy rigging.  The remote control also has a clamp.

ROAD CASES :

            This auction includes two road cases.  The laser and projector fit into the 64”L x 21”W x 22”H ATA road case with casters.  This case also has 2 compartments for mega clamps, safety cable, power cord and safety kill switch box.   The power supply and remote fit into the 27”L x 24”W x 18”H ATA road case.
